Sacred Heart Novitiate, a Jesuit novice house in Los Gatos, intent on becoming a Catholic priest. Brown resided at the novitiate from August 1956 to January 1960.
Interesting, this triggered a memory from a book I read long ago. I can't remember the name but I do remember it pointing out, about this time period and the priesthood. It stated the KGB was stealthily infiltrating the priesthood with their own operatives in order to help take down the church from within.
Well, now that we know Jerry Brown is pretty much a full-blown commie, along with your little tidbit about him, it made me wonder if he was one of those KGB candidates, FWIW.

Wow. I had forgotten that Brown wanted to be a priest, but had no idea how serious he really was.
JESUITS. FOUR YEARS serious! I read you, as soon as I saw the years of novitiate, I knew. Timing was during the infiltration we all know about.
I ordered the Alinsky story,from EWTN after they aired

It was in that video, I believe, where a female communist spilled the beans on the mission to infiltrate Holy Mother Church, by way of the priesthood, the seminaries, and no doubt in my mind, pushed Vatican II right along, in order to upend practices, turn us proddy against the Church, drop the Sacraments and to neutralize the Church. And worse. (See scripture.)
BTW, the female communist was converted, and diverted from being a part of the nefarious mission.)
Never have heard much about the infiltration occurring in Europe, or Germany in particular from where all the trouble and noise is coming, today. I should think they got worked over, as well. It should figure, after WW II.

[ On a personal note... I have always viewed the END was not near, until which time the Church of the Ages openly demonstrated it. (One of the many reasons I’m Catholic, believing Satan knows exactly who he is after, because he knows who the Church really and actually is.) ]
So, yes, it’s here— the coming final face-off time between the Devil himself and Christ Jesus, no matter how much time this final battle may actually take, it’s beginning.
