Then the question is if one is going to the trouble and expense of building a tennis court, why put it on a rolling hill and not level it?
Either way, it's weird!

It is a real tennis court and not painted on the ground.Looking carefully at those shadows, I don't think they are in the same relative position as the shadows from the nearby trees. As if the sun is at a different angle. So, they might be part of the painting on a tarp.
