If the whole thing goes down, commerce pretty much stops. No debit card, credit card, e-mail, no nothing. Back to typewriters, cash, vouchers and mail.

I can imagine certain websites being isolated, even big ones like google, facebook. Just don't know what to make of the "pause" remark. I'm mentally sidelining the remark as indefinite. if something big happens, I'll deal with it. No use for notice, for me.
