I think any offensive action was cyber in nature with the good guys winning. The suspected aircraft troop movements seem to be preparatory in nature to me.
As to the aircraft accidents, I am an atheist regarding loss of operational control to unk actors. Based upon what I have seen and my experience in ops/aviation safety it isn't unnatural. Coupled with the state of readiness of the 53 fleet, lack of real flying time (not simulator) is a causal factor to me, but it takes huge balls to make that a part of the mishap report.
Border augmentation stuff doesn't happen overnight. Post 9/11 some re-naming and reorganization occurred, but the 'system' remains. Having $$ changes things.
