I hope you are right. The DEMs appear to be immune to facts and reason, being driven purely by an intention to gain power and control or eradicate their opposition.
In the "Booth case," the state of war was precedent to the assassination; and it was the state of war that justified resort to military tribunal for citizens, while civilian courts were open. I don't see that fact pattern with U1 or framing the elected president with known false charges.
Because, up till now it has all been politics and we have let them get away with it. Now it is an act of war. Lincoln was killed after the South had surrendered in the field. The current situation happened before and after the election. Against the will of the people. All I want to hear is trial beginning, trial over with whatever verdict. If I was Prez I'd consider commutation of any capital punishment so I could try them on the pedo charges.

I am counting on the Democrats to be themselves and do their resist bs. We have a national emergency declared. Tons of trials to be undertaken. Tribunals are the only way to guarantee speedy and fair trials.
