Several days ago the highest recommendation, reportedly, for selecting Huber, (other than that boring meme that Huber was a friend of Sessions and that other glowing meme that Huber’s LOCATION was the Holy Grail) was that he was actually hell on wheels, in Utah, against illegal immigration.
The jury should probably still be out on WTH is going on, regarding the appointment of Huber. There is certainly no consensus on WTH is going on.
There remain *numerous* opposing arguments about why him, why Utah, what expanded prosecutorial authority he has, where authority came from, the difference between him and the IG, etc., etc.
I repeat myself, but, some decent sources like Judicial Watch, for one example, see the Huber appointment as a way to “kick the can down the road”.
Also, the president seems unimpressed with the Huber appointment. Q would disagree with Judicial Watch and the POTUS.
I find that odd, at the moment.
