I’ll go back to an earlier post of mine on this thread. The purpose of putting the National Guard on the border is not to keep certain people out, but to keep certain people in, particularly those trying to escape US jurisdiction.
U.S Customs has authority to do “southbound” question and searches, it would like looking for a needle in a haystack if someone tried to leave US jurisdiction in a vehicle. Then if they got to Mexico there could be an INTERPOL alert/warrant. They could bribe someone but then what?
Recognizable persons would probably use charter aircraft to get to non-extradition country..then they have to pay off locals-example Robert Vesco
