Cboldt,

Need some help; green eyes mentioned an “Uninterruptable Auto Pilot Control.”

I found references to it & the patent number.

https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2014/04/12/boeing-has-patent-for-autopilot-tech-report-system-enables-remote-control-of-aircraft-to-counter-hij/

“”The method and systems of the present invention provide techniques for automatically navigating, flying and landing an air vehicle,” states the report for the US patent number US7142971B2.”

Also mentioned here:

https://www.mandourlaw.com/blog/patented-boeing-autopilot-technology-questioned-in-missing-malaysia-flight-mh370/

https://www.uspto.gov/patents-application-process/search-patents

Can’t find it at the patent site, could the number US7142971B2 be wrong?

US Patent 7,475,851 to Yount, etal (Honeywell)

US Patent 7,142,971 to Brown, etal (Boeing)

You were searching in the published applications database. Below is a link to search issued patents by issued patent number.

Oops, maybe you weren't searching in patent applications. For patent numbers, just use digits. Commas are okay.

US7142971B2 -> 7142971 or 7,142,971

I am used to using the "advanced search" page. The search term for patent number would be PN/7142971
