Personal opinion here. The chair is the Chair of St. Peter, the Pope occupies that chair. The chair serves the Master! The Pope is supposed to serve the Master Jesus Christ. But this Pope may be/ most likely is serving the Master of sin aka Satan.

Oooo, nice, defcon. I think that may be why Q refers to the Pope as the "chair". I think he is referring to a more earthly master in this case, though. Hence the "backers being brought into the light" comment. Think Godfather III.

In that movie, the old Pope was backed by nefarious globalist criminal elements. And the new Pope was murdered by the same cabal.

There are powerful forces in play here. Both earthly and otherwise.
