No, it’s not 1970-71. Nearly a half century later, I finally have the same perspective that Billy Graham had at the time: The silly, overblown navel-gazing by two foppish Brits misses the most important part of the story, that of the Resurrection and the redemption of the world from sin.
I saw bits and pieces, did not like it.
I did however see Alice Coopers’ entire performance and got a little geeky.
Does it not seem odd that a big production to be broadcast on Resurrection Sunday would fail to mention anything about the Resurrection?
