I'm feeling like hearing some interesting music that I've never heard before, so I thought I'd start a thread on FReeper's favorite underrated bands. Post several good examples of their music and why you feel they're underrated. Should be fun.
Sneaker Pimps - “Low Five” (hq video)
Luna - “California (All The Way)
Richard Thompson - “Bathsheba Smiles”
Big Cake fan myself, saw them (him really) perform out in the Bay Area in the late 90s’s.
Cake - “Comfort Eagle”
Interesting, sort of a RHPC vibe.
Mott the Hoople/Ian Hunter.
Fool’s Gold by The Stone Roses is great driving music.
The Neal Morse Band
Loved this one....
Step On - Happy Mondays

“You’re twistin’ my melon, man!”
Seasick Steve
Interesting, very complex. I’d like to find better quality audio, sounds atmospheric but it’s getting lost in the crackle of the vinyl.
Tesla - “Signs”
Manowar - “Warriors Of The World”
They have a very versatile sound.
The Cyrcle - “Red Rubber Ball” (vintage color video)
The Cyrcle - “Turn Down Day” (vintage color video)
The Dillards (otherwise known as The Darlings from The Andy Griffith Show) - “There Is A Time”
Best underrated band ever. A cross between the Beatles & Queen.
Jellyfish, that’s a band I hadn’t thought about in awhile.
This is the one song of theirs’ I really liked.
The King Is Half-Undressed
