Key point, science is based on the observable ideally by experiment. What only happens once unless observed can only be defined by inference and therefore one must postulate a theorem or premise based upon a F-A-I-T-H!

At several stages in the scientific process of hypothesis formation and testing, faith is necessarily & unavoidably involved. There are several assumptions involved and where there are assumptions, there is faith.
