I tend to think is a combo of NAFTA v2 and taking away benefits and penalizing or whatever the term is for sending money back to your home country. Heck just not paying for all the crap we hand them would save BILLIONS.
do we give them foreign aid. probly ....snatch that. mug all the wets that cross over. shave their heads and sell their hair. sell theis shoes on ebay. the can keep the rest nobody wants their nasty clothes.
I don’t know the ins and outs of NAFTA, but my largest wholesale account sells in Canada and I suspect it accounts for a portion of their orders. I do have to fill out a form each year certifying my materials and product are from the USA. I can’t really vouch for my main supplier, but so far (over 20-odd years), so good.
I’m really just a tiny little biz...every $ counts, so I hope whatever is renegotiated, it still allows Canadian trade.
