Gotta admit the Defango vid was compelling. My only knowledge of him comes from the early video calls w/Jason and George Webb. He may be an obese basement dweller who lives on line and vapes *something* constantly, but that’s not inconsistent with being conversant with the chans and being a hacker of whichever color hat. My understanding of the hacker community is that chops are chops, regardless of the package. I have no way to vet Cicada or the solver community as I am hopeless in those areas.
I admit to thinking hard about that video. I vacillate on Q.
Defango cleared up one point I’ve so far missed: the original strategy (per Defango, who is not modest)was to lure people into a psyop as a vaccination against ever being so duped again. Sorry, all, but there is a nugget of sense in that. He’s certainly accurate comparing it to an ARG and he knows the chans. I don’t and if you do, I’ll defer to your knowledge. How do you know he’s a liar, for example? The little I could navigate on the chans made me conclude they’re all a bunch of s#!+posters.
All that said: Q’s value lies in making people do the work and Defango acknowledged that. He also acknowledged there was truth and real nuggets in the drops, even those of the 3rd Q. And 2nd Q didn’t lie, they just weren’t predictive or insiders. (sic Defango)
I an definitely not a government anything. I have a well-tuned sense of when I’m possibly being played. Phrases and words will stick in my mind that later on prove to have been prescient. In Q’s case:”You’re going to be really surprised when you find out who’s been talking to you.” Flame away, but that can be taken a variety of ways.
I was called out as a ‘Tokyo Rose’ a few days ago. I don’t even recall what I said, but evidently it was not sufficiently in accord with some others. Trust me: there are much more subtle and persuasive ways to cast doubt than to disagree, earnestly question or caution.
I’m not a fan of AIM and I mentioned that in regard to the “Q Psyops” vid. I’m not the least bit a fan of Defango, either, but I will take his analysis under advisement while looking for affirmation to the contrary. He is right about the danger of solidifying into a “Yea Team” mentality when, in reality, there are only we the people and the uniparty of elites.
What I won’t do is dismiss the possibility of a LARP just because it’s embarrassing. Being played says ‘a lot’ about the player, none of it complimentary. All it says about the played is that someone was cruel enough to manipulate hope.
Whatever the truth about Q (and I think we’ll know in short order, since time is now being counted down), it’s a successful exercise in bonding. That, coupled with the research, may be enough value for the time spent.
I think very few go into searching out the Q stuff without realizing it could be a larp. That said I have learned a ton and even if it is one. My real question, on the pro-larp side, are why bother with all the spamming and hacking if there is not something there they are desperate to keep hidden? Those following Q lose nothing if it is a Larp and have gained a ton of knowledge that hurts the powers that be.
I will not be ashamed I watched this unfold, if it becomes known to be one. The real problem you encounter is that these people following Q are now organized somewhat and after this they will be even more pissed off nothing is being done about the corruption, after waiting in hope of action all this time. It will backfire for a huge segment of this group, they think they are playing, they are not as easily manipulated as the left..
