My guess for who POTUS sent is Jerad and Ivanka. THey have a very good relationship with XI and Ivanka is extremely well thought of in China.
Interesting theory. Could be, I think whatever was done there was already a done deal and whoever showed up from the US was probably just window dressing so to speak. Not sure but that is my thought process right now.
Somebody might want to research the Trump helicopter problems. The last one had Ivanka and Jared on it....there is a rumor that this was not the first “accident” lately with Trump helicopters with family members on them.
