Report today that Kim has always been too endangered, as was his father before him, to ever consider leaving the country. His absence from country if known by his military could/would enable an instantaneous coup by the generals of the military.

I had to wonder how Kim could pull this train trip off, outside the military eyes on him. Also, wondered if his in-country military enemies are relieved to hear of tensions relaxing if only he makes a deal with Trump?

His enemies may have had their power striped from them

So he could only safely go if his military was behind him on this? Perhaps he is/was a hostage of sorts.

For some reason the Kim train reminds be of the Lenin train across German occupied Europe—to Russia—in 1917, to assume leadership of Bolsheviks in Revolution.

Not to say Kim is the dangerous leader Lenin was; just sayin’ there is much more afoot than meets the eye.
