I’ve been preaching that issue for a decade or more. It is huge, it needs to be fixed, and it needs to be fixed ASAP. I don’t think a democrat would win any election if not for their proverbial stuffing of the ballot box. I don’t think that there are enough stupid people in the country to allow that.

The presentation also does not do a good job of distiguishing between Title I and Tiutle VII FISA warrants. The FISC opinion and DiGenova's mention of unmasking are Title I broadband warrant (no individual names) issues. The warrant vs. Carter Page is a Title VII warrant, a named suspected foreign agent.
Having followed FISA civil liability cases, the government has ZERO risk of being found liable for snooping and any illegal unmasking. In act, the FISC ruled that there had been no fourth amendment violations.

A Good Friday release? That doesn’t sound right..
Thinking because its a general background video, distinguishing the difference between FISA title warrents may be confusing. I have tried twice explaining to good folks, mostly called blank looks. Did not know if it was me explaining or the third pitcher of beer the cause. LoL
I guess you are still under the illusion that people go to church on Good Friday. Some do. But mostly everyone works on Good Friday. so..... I know when I was a child everyone was off on Good Friday. I was referring to the part of FISA law that provides civil penalties to people who are snooped without a warrant. There have been many cases, lawsuits on that statute, 50 USC 1810. ZERO of those cases proceed. The government declares "state secret," and that's the end of that.
I think I reversed the assignment of FISA Titles to Carter Page and to blanket surveillance. The FISC opinion DiGenova had in his mitts was on the subject of blanket/702 surveillance. Maybe that case has something to do with the Carter Page warrant, but only tangentially in that maybe the blanket surveillance and unmasking uncovered the name, which was used to pivot to a named-person, Title I warrant against Carter Page and associates.
