No, it isn't. Why do you think the Left wants to ban bump stocks? We alreay know the Las Vegas massacre was a false flag - or at least Q says it was. So bump stocks have nothing to do with public safety. This was a hit, using professional murderers and multiple gunman.
As already pointed out last night by several Freepers, ANY semi-automatic can be altered to fire more like an automatic rifle - bump stocks are one such method. There are others.
Do you think after bump stocks are banned (thanks Mr. Sessions) the left will stop there? Of course not. The mantra will be to ban ALL semi-automatics.
This is their template:
Norwegians to lose their semi-automatic hunting rifles. Scrap or Export!
So the question remains: why is Sessions and President Trump giving the left an inch in this fight?
I confess, I honestly don't know. But it is one of a string of major disappointments from this week. If we are playing 27th Dimensional Chess again, it sure seems like one hell of a gamble to be throwing in our Constitutional Rights into this bet.
While the bump-stock ban bugs me in principle, I'm not worried just yet that it is camel nose under the tent. It's a throw-away, for practical purposes, and avoids a fight over that detail.
I am sure, if the fight was over semi-autos, the fight would be real, and the scope of civil disobedience (not violence, just refusal to abide by the law) would be near total.
