Think of all the young people trained in engineering, surveying and other building trades. THey would have the skills to build our infrastructure They Even might build the “much needed” tunnel from. NY to NJ. From friends who use that area daily it is really a security issue. If NY or NJ ever needed to be evacuated near impossible as it is.
Yes, I think that it would be near impossible to evacuate Manhattan in a dire emergency situation. Not nearly enough tunnels and bridges off of the island.
