The Castro brothers were from a very well to do family. Their father was a senior executive with United Fruit. Fidel was a practicing attorney in Havana before going commie. Batista should have offed him when he had the chance.

Awhile back I was trying to find an example of a socialist revolutionary that did not come from a wealthy background, and so I took a look at Fidel Castro.
