Bill Gates did something similar, contracted to develop a friendlier operating system for ??? (can’t remember who) and launched Windows, having funded it by the contract work that he and his group did for the other company.
Xerox.
Gates and Jobs both stole tools from Xerox.
Jobs hired Gates and Allen as programmers, especially for WYSIWYG word processing and spreadsheets.
But Windows was Gates’s baby, using the WYSIWYG that Xerox had handed them on a silver plate.
Xerox was in the IBM camp thinking ‘microcomputers’ were toys, child’s play, never expected to be anything else.
Apple had a different operating system altogether.
So Gates deserves credit for Windows as a WYSIWYG version of MS-DOS that Gates, Allen had developed for IBM on a contract brought in by Bill’s mother Mary Gates’s connections.
What I was pointing out that Geeky Gates had no political instincts and so he was nearly destroyed by the Clinton machine in an anti-trust action which was spurred in part by Gates entrance into the internet with Internet Explorer. Gates’s instincts correctly pinpointed an internet presence was critical to Microsoft’s survival. But he destroyed the fledgling Netscape on the road to dominance which was CIA contractor Larry Ellison’s (Oracle) pet startup. Ellison made phone calls and Blowjob dispatched Tribe to break up and destroy Microsoft. Gates paid his way out (Clinton contributions through back channels) and is still paying today through the Gates and Buffet tax-avoidance scheme (Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation) which many foundational tax experts say is a tax-evasion scheme. Money is channeled to charities that are managed by the Clinton Foundation.
After that near anti-trust destruction, Gates went full blue liberal from his ‘independent’ political standing as the suits against him and Microsoft were dropped. He learned and became owned.
Gates is now in the crosshairs again and is at risk of losing ALL HIS WEALTH because he bet heavily that Hillary would win. He’s now caught with others in a matter that can be characterized as criminal and may result in criminal charges. This entire saga demonstrates the democrat party won’t allow you to be rich unless you pay through the nose to them, especially if you want to survive when they are in power.
Zuckerberg is now in a similar political minefield but I don’t think he has the smarts, speed, or instincts of Gates. And he’s already as blue as blue liberals can be. It would be interesting to see if he waxes pink to purple in response to the Trump camp coming down on him, if they do. Like Snowden recently coughing up algorithms to Trump world, Zuckerberg could end being pulled up toward Trump world albeit reluctantly, perhaps tugging and thrashing about like a deep sea game fish.
