Apparently a young JFK Jr. was a hand at the Barlow family ranch when he was a kid. Barlow though Republican took a liking to him and became a mentor. Was an influence on the magazine "George" which JFK Jr. launched. Kennedy never believed the official story of his fathers' murder and was digging.
So in my mind there was more than one bunch of bad actors that wanted him gone. Mr. Barlow may have been holding information that black hats did not want released to the public.
