I looked briefly at a video of them lifting it into place with that huge custom transporter/lift rig they had underneath it. I'll have to go back and analyze carefully, but there are a pair of transverse fractures across the deck that struck me as perhaps where the ends were cantilevered beyond support by the "rig"...
A single transverse fracture from "lift damage"would have sufficed to initiate total collapse,

This is local for me, so non stop coverage.
They were tightening the sway bracing when this happened.
I Think they over torqued the cables resulting in twisting the structure. Of course when you have a bunch of monkeys working what do you expect. These dumbasses probably were washing dishes last week.
