Let me jog your memory a bit: in 2000 George W. campaigned as a (semi)conservative rather than as a clone of his Rockefeller Republican dad. Once in office, he was pretty much a dimmer clone of his father. The Jorge acorn won't fall far from the Jeb tree either.
I repeat what I said. Trump is the de facto head of the GOP, he's expected to play that part and support incumbents in his own party. Similarly, ambitious upstart Republicans are expected to endorse their party's Presidential nominees if they have any hope of a political future.
For these reasons, Trump also recently endorsed Mitt Romney for the Utah GOP primaries because Mitt is almost 100% certain to win the Utah GOP nominee. That doesn't mean that my opinion of Mitt Romney is any higher. The same is true of La Raza Jorge.
