Which picture would make her 80? She grew up in East Berlin and joined the Communist Party. Her dad, the pastor, voluntarily went to East Germany. While there, he seemed to receive may privileges from the Party Leaders, including educations for his children, which was unusual for pastors.

Angela Merkle grew up immersed in Communism. She looks to be one of those who benefited, while others suffered under Communist rule.

Post #1367, which has now been removed, was a photo of Adolph Hitler with a little girl whom the poster posited might be Angela Merkel. The girl looked to be five or six years old and would therefore have had to have been born ca 1940 or earlier. My point was that the girl in the photo could not have been Merkel because Merkel is clearly not that old.
