The chances of Yellowstone exploding during the lifetime of anyone here, are greater than zero but vanishingly small. Better to spend your energy on things that matter, like the next election.

Yeah, well if the Yellowstone caldera goes that would be waaaaay beyond anything humans have ever experienced, a whole different kind of catastrophe. It could go anytime but it might not go for thousands of years yet. Let’s hope.....

Any large caldera volcano could potentially liquidate everyone on the planet depending on the types of gases released and in what quantity.
There should be studies on the make up of the gases in each Caldera.
