“If I had a son who went to the hospital with a bloody nose and then filed charges with the police I would disown him.”
Totally agree. Being a man means understanding that women are basically like a child, and you can’t expect them to bear the consequences of their angry acts in the same way an adult would.
I’ve been pummeled by a woman before, because she was angry about an argument. I made absolutely no critical or derisive comments about her, but actually was just defending myself as she was being unfairly hypercritical. I think that at some level, independent of feminism, there is a general feeling among women that men are ‘rocks’ that can’t be truly hurt. Being strong doesn’t mean you can’t be hurt. It means that you suck it up and continue to try doing what’s right, no matter what. Everyone hurts, if not physically then for sure emotionally. It’s just the way it is.
Some women believe that women are not culpable for their actions, but that men are culpable for:
1. their own actions
2. actions inaccurately attributed to them
3. the actual actions of all other men everywhere
4. actions inaccurately attributed to other men
5. the actions of women
