I'm not sure "substandard" is the right word, but admittedly they fudged the books on what they were selling.
FWIW, there are standard grades of crap steel and iron. The devil lies in the details. The deviations from what Kobe claimed to deliver compared with what was actually delivered probably range from "nothingburger" to "genuine concern."
So that’s why I can’t strike a good arc!
If I pay for top of the line and they package as top of the line that’s what I should get. Anything of less quality is substandard.
Space shuttle disaster from their products? Other metalurgical issues with civil (auto failures) or DoD catastrophes?
