I cant dispute anything you say...
I am glad there are a lot of more brilliant minds working on it than me.
It was before my time, but I always thought going off the gold standard and printing money with no backing is where we went off track.
That said, I do understand about putting cats back into a bag... after releasing them, LOL.
I just want a system that cant be manipulated at a whim like we have now.
Now that you mention it, I really need to get out and see if I can’t find a little chunk of the gold stuff... or maybe a bigger one... Its a hobby that only one time have I even found enough to pay for the gas I used getting there to search... LOL.
There will always be some level of gold trading. But as a valuation foundation for an advanced governmental currency system, it won’t happen.
Societies such as Arabic or Chinese are giving/will give it a go, but they’re stuck on stupid.
The future is unpredictable as to the US currency system. But decentralization will happen as it entails getting rid of the middleman in transactions.
The federal government is constitutionally mandated to maintain the nation’s currency. Therefore, Congress will at some point be forced to deal with all this by setting the standards and maintaining a basic federal formulation by which the value of all other cryptocurrencies is derived.
Generally speaking, any system (of any kind) can be perverted by evil or selfish human beings.
It’s really the human beings that are the problem....
