I see your point, but SNL as well as the vast majority of mainstream media and news, were politically neutral, or much more so. It use to be you didn’t have to endure a viewpoint from an obvious left wing advocate.
I know Cronkite was a leftist, but he played the part of the centrist, because he knew he would alienate HALF his audience and hurt his credibility if let his views be made obvious. Whereas today it is a badge of honor among the leftist media to flaunt your extremist left views.
Even more reason not to pay them any attention. Ignore them. Don't watch them. Your will never miss them.
I used to watch cable TV news every evening and was absorbed in it.
But I stopped cold turkey when Trump won the GOP nomination.
I could see that watching the media didn't inform me of anything other than the media today is overtly, very biased against Trump and his supporters.
Being a strong Trump supporter, I saw no reason to keep watching the attacks on my candidate and me.
