It's a RRA AR-10 in .308. The scope is a Vortex Viper 6-24x50 PST.
I'm going out to the range this morning to bust the cherry on this one.
I once had a terrible boating accident involving a total of 47 rowboats. all sunk resulting in the loss of 31,492 firearms.
It was tragic. Tragic I tell you.
Sweet! Nice scope! :-)
Man Dawg,
I have a .308 Cetme’ and practice blowing up boulders.
Lot of fun,
Be safe.
yea, this one has a little more giddyup than my 5.56.
Smith and Wesson 642 or 442, hammerless and light weight, .38 special.
Sight it in with some cheap ammo and then the final sighting use Hornady SP. You will make some great shots at distance with this. It is a quite accurate rifle for a semi-auto. You will be pleased.
Something I use when the to young to teach 1 grand and great grands show up and to store the extra ammo.
I bought 3 boxes of winchester .308 180 grain. Those’ll be the first ones down the barrel.
Will it take my 38 ammo and is it hammer less? I’m serious I can’t cock my gun at all, the only thing the thumb is good for is balancing a juice glass if it’s empty. Never sure I’ve got a good hold on it. It’s been a year since surgery, daily PT, has only partial and painfull returned partial use of my hand. I can’t even quilt any more. That is VERY UPSETTING I have a room full of fabric.
Loved your photos :)
If you don’t mind my asking, how much?
Bass Pro wants 1150.
No problems here with recoil or 2nd shot accuracy.
The extended mag, 7 rounds, is longer and provides more grip if you need it.
It is one sweet shooter and has never bruised or bit me.
“...if the police come aknockin. Guns purchased prior to tbd date will have no records...”
Can you give us the date!!?
They normally sell for $1699 at the store I go to. RRA website says they run about $1790. This was marked down to $1399.
Make sure you compare apples to apples. Mine is a LAR-8 Standard Tactical.
Thanks, it looks like Bass Pro has quite the deal.
I have one 5 miles from my house. My mini-14 is crap BTW.
see my post about comparing apples to apples.
Have you ever fired a rifle that was such a pleasure to shoot you had to cease firing to keep from wasting ammo?
That M-14E2 stock & the rifle’s mass turns recoil of each round fired into a gentle `oomph’. Addictive.
I see yours now at rockriver.
The bass pro is the DEF10
