You must remember this, a kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh. The fundamental things apply
As time goes by ............................. Did they not have that on the list? Oh, maybe it didn’t win an oscar?

I still can't believe "Blame Canada!" from "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut" was even nominated. I still remember the performance of it by the late Robin Williams on the Oscar show.

In fact, here it is.

I so agree with you. I wore out several cassettes of the first Lone Justice album.

Wow! Her voice is still great at 52.

I’m pretty much convinced that she’s second only to Emmy Lou Harris.

It’s always nice to see a voice stay that strong/beautiful for so long. The first time I saw Lone Justice live (1985)...I couldn’t get over her voice. Glad it still sounds so great.

“Theme From Picnic/Moonglow”

This was sinful stuff back then - no hip movement allowed.

Yea, I thought that would be the no 1 worst.

I actually liked most of the ones on his worst list.

As Time Goes By was not written for Casablanca, hence not eligible. It was written in the 1930’s and gathering dust in the Warner Bros. catalogue when Dooley Wilson sat down at the piano. Likewise One For My Baby did not originate in the Sinatra film but was introduced by Fred Astaire about a decade earlier in another film.

No, not even a nomination. Great song and it should have been nominated.

I think the ballad of High Noon should be among the best somewhere.

Still smokin’ hot today. Sexy didn’t have to be smut. Which, of course, made it that much sexier.

“Picnic” was small town America to a “T.” Hot Summer nights, the Japanese lanterns strung along the lake, sack races, the sound of slamming screen doors - Lord how I miss those days.

Emmylou Harris, with her little thin, squeaky voice? Can’t listen to her. But I agree she is a good harmony singer.

“The Way We Were” is better than “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp.”

No, it isn't.

"4. You Light Up My Life (Joe Brooks)" is the definition of "Insipid".
