So, Obama told us what he was going to do on that Jan 13 2014 speech. He transferred the collection of metadata on citizens from government (NSA/CIA) to commercial cohorts {Twitter,Facebook,Google,Microsoft,...etc.

Think control of people—MSM,brainwashing. Now they get people to give them info voluntarily. No oversight, no trail.

Make it rain, Class action? Maybe sue companies for release of info to gov agencies for nefarious purposes.
