When Obama was elected the first time, Richardson spoke congratulating him and said he was the 1st immigrant POTUS. I distinctly remember that, cannot find video of it but it should be out there somewhere.

Do you recall if Richardson was speaking in Spanish or English? I remembered the info that Richardson said zer0 was an immigrant from the old birth certificate threads, but not exactly what was said. Seems like what was posted at that time was from a different angle (memory's not what it used to be, LOL, and it was a few years ago), but could have been from another camera of this interview that I just posted. I may keep looking, and if I do and find anything, I'll post it. Thanks!

English! It was the night of O’s first election or the next day. As part of the big dim celebration some reporter asked Richardson how he felt and Richardson said he was excited and said O was the first immigrant to be elected POTUS. Remember at the time Richardson was expecting a cabinet position so he was being sincere, not snarky.
