“Why are DOJ staff leaking to Greg Jarrett that Sessions is AG in name only now?”

I would posit those are orchestrated leaks to further establish Sessions as an independent voice heading-up the DOJ in the minds of the media.

This will make the coming prosecutions pursuant to the release of the OIG report more credible and hypocritical media complaints of a pro-Trump partisan DOJ less so.

I could be wrong by reading this much nuance into things, but I trust both Trump and Sessions in these matters.

I dunno, if Sessions was true-blue you'd think he would have made sure his seat stayed R, even if RINO. He coulda done that, and didn't.

He's failed every single 'ye shall know them by their fruit' test he's been put to, so far.
