Repeal the 22nd Amendment so Donald J. Trump can do more than two terms as President
There is so much corruption in Washington right now, in almost every department and it is going to take more than 8 years to "drain the swamp". Donald J. Trump has proven time and time again, he is the best man for the job. Therefore we the people demand an exception be made, repeal the 22nd Amendment temporarily so Donald J. Trump can end corruption in Washington, whether it takes 3 terms or 5 terms, Donald J. Trump is a man who gets things done. Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Democrat, served 4 terms, surely the same can be allowed for a Republican to save the country.

No...just plain no.
Would you have wanted Obastard running again in 2016? How about 2020, 2024, 2028.?
No President should have more than one term.
No good. Obama might still be in place if that had been done earlier.
Bad idea. No, thanks.
NO. Bad idea.
No need for that. Trump just declares “Marsha” law at the end of his second term and incarcerates liberals, for their own safety of course.
I can live with two. But no elected official should have more than two terms in the same office. Exception for small town locals, maybe, if it meant everyone in town would have to be mayor sooner or later...
Where’s the Not This S**t Again graphic?
No thanks. You do that and you could wind up with Billy Jeff or Obozo again
Not s good idea at all
No actually I dont
We dont need a dictator or a monarch
No. More term limits are needed, not fewer.
And that wont pass the giggle test
People who love the republic aint laughing
That would be dangerous the next time a Democrat is elected.
"The Dummycrats only forced through the term limits because they were scared of Ike."
makes it look like you don't know your history very well.
It was the Republican controlled 80th Congress that passed the amendment in 1947. It went to the states and was ratified almost 4 years later in February of 1951.
During most of that time Ike was president of Columbia University.
It wasn't until June of 1952 that Ike declared his candidacy.
I’m sure the DUmmies are here now, linking to this thread and posting it up on theirs.
This thread is insanity. We like the constitution.
Rather than call DJT our Messiah (he isn't- that position is already taken), what is the plan to inject a dynamic curriculum of logic and reasoning as a core competency in K-12 education?
There is none. That is the reason Americans are unable to think correctly, and we must solve that.
With that silly folly, America would have had endless Clinton and Obama. Our side better prepare for the answer post Trump presidency.
You sound like a liberal, juggling the US Constitution to produce whatever immediate outcomes you want. We don’t enact a constitutional amendment (or remove one) based upon any one person. That is entirely the wrong way to write a constitution.
How about one 6 year term?
