If you attack the king you’d better kill him. Jerry Jones didn’t kill him. Not that Goodell didn’t deserve to be attacked, not that his compensation for abysmal performance isn’t disgusting, not that the NFL isn’t going to hell on a hand truck, but now comes the part where Goodell exacts his retribution.

I have to admit, I never thought I’d see Jerry Jones losing to Roger Goodell. What in the world happened to those owners?

Couldn’t it be countered that Goodell’s actions in accepting fake social justice outrage instead of promoting football was detrimental to the league? I mean, just look at his actions as compared to TV revenues.

And by voting to keep him the other league owners have given Goodell a free pass to do whatever he wants.
