I will use the electric trimmer to work on hubby’s hair line. He is not amused by long hair growing down the back of his neck. Even used the trimmer to shave his back a few times. When asked, he’ll take a small pair of shears and trim my split ends occasionally. A beauty shop has never been on a list of favorites. Always seemed to be a waste of time, spend at least an hour there, come home dissatisfied and disappointed.
These days wear my hair long. Before my stroke, when there was still coordination in my joints, was actually able to braid my hair in a French braid. These days, all that can be mustered is a ponytail with braiding afterward. When feeling energetic, I’ll use electric curlers in my hair before the tail and braid. Straight hair is all I’ve ever known. Once was envious of those with natural curly hair, years ago. LOL these days more than happy to still have hair on my head :-)
Exactly the same here.
