Spring is slow in coming here, but eagerly awaiting the strawberries. Have ordered 50 more plants-hope to be able to get them in the ground. Hubby will be 90 in 3 months but is still working outdoors every day and has done some rototilling. Garden will be much smaller this year but looking forward to having my own fresh veggies. PS. Don’t feel too frantic to catch up. This thread is going a lot a lot slower than grannies did. Just a few posts a day for now. I hope that will change though! And it will be like old times.
A quick summary, we have moved! We escaped Mexiforna and are in East Tennessee. Have 18 acres and a Huge garden. Hubby bought a Rototiller for the back of the tractor and the garden kept getting bigger and bigger…So like you I hope this year will be smaller. I’m going to space the plants out more because I wore myself out last year.
