I had shoes resoled last fall.
A small,thin soled,woman’s flat. Just leather soles done,no heels.
Cost was $30.00-—which surprised me.

There’s a place in town that does leather work - they resole shoes, fix belts, it’s an lost art, I suspect.
I didn’t mean we literally cannot resole shoes, LOL! But that most shoes are not made well enough that it’s worth it. Like couches aren’t made well enough to recover, unless you buy the top of the line ones.
Forgot to ask - was that a happy surprise or a bad surprise?
