Yep, that’s me. Not just beans, either, although there are always a few of those. I grow whatever Baker Creek assigns me, plus I try to preserve other varieties that strike my fancy, as long as they won’t cross with anything else in my garden.
That sounds like so much fun. I don’t know why but I enjoy harvesting the seeds more than I do the produce. I guess it’s a combination of being the end of the gardening season so that I get a rest. And the hope for the next year, planning ahead and getting ready a bit. Having something to show for it all.
We’re going to be moving, but I’ll still have about nine acres. Half of what I have now. Would that be enough to grow seeds that are good enough for a Seed Company?
