Well, in july last year, two days in a row someone was killed by a bear in town. Two towns, two days, two dead.
It seems towns are a bear feeding area.
However in Chicago I bet at least six people were killed each day. My guess is that towns have been feeding areas for predators for years.
My point in both my posts is that your world view is one that is fatally flawed. The environment determines your need for self defense and when your life is on the line, what weapon you choose should not be dependent on some other persons perception of general circumstances.
In Alaska, you have a different type of predator than you have in the lower 48 school zones. However in both cases, killing the predator should be done as fast as possible.
If you want to limit all law abiding people’s ability to use the best tool for the job, I am not sure the criminals or the bears will go along with your grand plans.
Making schools defense free zones is a perfect example of centralized planning stupidity. It is also why socialism never works.
Hey Tim, I’m on your side. My .22 caliber. Rifle can hit a burglar many, many times before he’d know what hit him. But I can see them taking away my rights to own that little rifle.
A guy coming into my house at night is up is up to no good and he should prepare to be taken out....with extreme prejudice.
