It took 20 years and a shootout, but Team USA finally beat Team Canada to take the Olympics gold medal in Womens Hockey late last night. However, for NBC, victory was not on the ice as the ratings for the second Wednesday of the PyeongChang games slide to their second worst result yet.

Watching NBC coverage. I was under the impression one had to be LBGT and/or a Trump hater to be on this year’s USA Olympic team, so I quit watching.
I was watching the downhill portion of that race last night and after Lindseed Vonn skied, all Bode Miller and the other jackass could talk about was Lindseed Vonn and what a wonderful, etc.... person she is. In fact, another skier was coming down the mountain and they just kept yapping about Lindseed, ignoring the lady skiing until she was almost complete with her run. That did it for me. Turned it off and won’t watch anymore.
Top tier female athletes tend to do exactly that. Breasts are mostly fat. Look at the women gymnasts, runners, swimmers, soccer players, etc. The ones with generous curves are the exceptions. I suppose everything grows back when they retire and put on 20 pounds.
Olympics coverage has sucked ever since NBC started covering them. Jim McKay and Wide World of Sports knew how to do sports. NBC has always been more into the back story, sob story, touchy feely stuff. The sport is only a backdrop for NBC’s people coverage.
Womens sports will become better once they have enough males on the team
Where are the trannies to up their success? We want trannies!!!
Not to mention the freak show that is Johnny Weir(d). I don’t know how to explain that guy to my kids. Luckily they know some things are beyond explanation and just shake their heads. Thank goodness the NHL is on most nights as an alternative.

Was it even on the main NBC channel? It seems that all of the hockey has bern put on NBCSN which I would have to pay extra to see. I’m a couple of night behind fast fotwarding past commercials, commentary and figure skating so I don’t know if I have it recorded.
Women’s hockey is it’s own thing, I have grandsons and granddaughters play. I actually prefer the girls games. Checking is a waste of energy.
Lol. Have you seen the sumo wrestler skating ad? I’ve not watched much of the Olympics but that’s popped up a couple of times that I’ve seen. I don’t even remember what product is being pitched, which is a compliment to the ad.
Yes, it was on really late, so claiming this had anything to do with ratings is dubious. I believe they were showing alpine sports during prime time last night.
I went to a gymnastics event back in college, and was truly amazed when there was a competitor there that was naturally very endowed... Far larger chest than any Gymnast I had ever seen. She competed fine, and was a very fit woman... but very busty.
She competed well, but it was surprising to see... definitely stood out among the crowd... Never seen a gymnast like that before or since.
Probably the last Winter Olympics where figure skating pairs are exclusively man-woman and the SJW's in charge for make it more gender fluid.
And NBC's ratings will really crash.
Maybe people aren’t watching because it’s homosexuals on parade bashing Trump and the USA.
I tried to follow the US men’s team but NBC made it virtually impossible for me to find the games. They all ran at 7:30 AM or very late at night, and I could never easily find which of the several channels it was on.
That team was gritty but lacked scoring punch. All of the energy came from the four college players. Tony Granato should have stuck to college guys when picking the team.
Women sports-nuff said.
More style and great playmaking. Anybody can put on skates and punch an opponent in the mouth.
