I posted direct URL on this post above right after DoT released yesterday; it is a preliminary report and clear they are keeping things under wraps for time being. The video confirmed witness testimony that the driver went around the guard arm and then parked on the tracks right ahead of the train.

I read an report of that earlier (shortly after the wreck).

Not to cloud the issue (though this clouds the issue), but the crossing gates at this crossing had a history of misbehaving.

Either the truck was trying to derail the train...or being aware of the historical misbehavior of the gates was simply trying to stay on schedule.
