Can you pinpoint the difference? Curious.

Hmm. Several reasons come to mind, but I’ve never analyzed it in depth.

So off the top of my head:

I think most people knew Margaret Trudeau was a play girl, but Princess Diana was considered virginal.

So Margaret Trudeau having a son who looks like Fidel Castro is just sort of a shoulder shrug. It could happen.

The case with Harry possibly being the child of James Hewitt seems far more shocking and tragic, especially with the death of his mother. If it’s true, then he was raised by people with no blood tie to him.

It also brings to mind how close a possibly illegitimate child came to being crowned king of Great Britain.

Then one thinks of the awful life that Prince Charles bestowed upon Diana. He never loved her, yet he was willing to take her future away from her by deception, and did so.

So there seems to be what one might say is karma, although I don’t believe in that, I just can’t think of another word to describe it.

He planned to cheat her, and did so. He was unfaithful and went so far as to cheat her out of a normal life. He actually planned for her to go through life being denied the very basic option of having someone love her.

How tragic is that?

But then, she dies. But then, as every day passes his son grows to look more and more like James Hewitt.

That’s Shakespeare level tragedy right there.

Margaret Trudeau sleeping with Castro? Meh. It could happen.
