I think that there’s various degrees of “swampiness” in the different agencies. Some more swampy than others, and all held in their swampiness under the threat of violence or exposure.

Why, for example, is McCain such a liberal/globalist weasel? I mean, he’s been in the military, saw action for better or for worse, and yet, he acts against the very nation to which he’s taken the oath.

Swamp creatures exist in all parts of government, but perhaps they’re much more congregated in some agencies as opposed to others. Like CIA for example.

I agree the swamp is on both sides of the aisle and Obama had done a “nice” job of spreading it around through the gov. The CIA was swampier in that it could do (and does) more direct harm (weapons, intel etc.) When Trump took office, he had to figure out who in the swamp he could trust. Couldn’t have been easy.
