And another thing Betsy. I was fortunate enough to catch Sia at a concert. Try her music out!

I became a fan of umbrella drinks and I’m not ashamed to admit it. When made properly, mai tais or margaritas can pack quite a punch. Nothing girly about them - other than the actual umbrellas which can easily be removed.

A couple of years ago we were at the coast (Pismo Beach, Ca) with two other couples. So, I bought an alcohol included Margarita bottle. I drank the whole thing. And then I went to a bar and was lucky to get back. Whew! (No driving was involved in this particularly brilliant episode.)

Stewart Copeland was in Curved Air before joining The Police.

Once a ‘rumor’ that when they put ANYTHING in a drink ‘separate’ it was to keep an accurate count.

Of course once some ‘anal’ type figured it out, the guy next to you (friend of foe) would have drinks ‘added’ to his/her bill (Up to a point with ‘her’).

Guess the idea was the customer would have 3 or 4 of these potent drinks and wouldn’t ‘believe’ the bar tender and he (most always he at that time) would point out the stems, toothpicks, umbrellas etc etc.

THAT is my story and I am sticking to it...<: <: <:

I didn’t realize for years that “Venus”, by The Shocking Blue was sung by a woman.

When you get that new car, make sure a satellite radio is included. Yeah, the monthly expense of the satellite service is a PIA, but it’s absolutely worth it not to have to listen to the jarring commercials or the chatter of some of the DJs or their guests. And you will really appreciate it on long drives! You never have to change the channel like when you get out of range of an FM or AM station.

After an hour at the bar, it’s amazing her fingers can still text.

We have already established WHAT you are, we are now negotiating a price.

We have been in this restaurant/bar for over an hour. They’re playing classic rock, mostly ‘70s. Their music service has yet to play a single woman’s voice - not even a duet. Not even *backup*.

For an explanation perhaps it is time to revisit Sex on the Brain, by Deborah Blum... Women are now Wimyn, a strange thing, destined to go extinct creatures.

You can't fool Mother Nature.

How crazy do you have to be to notice something like this? I wouldn’t have noticed in a million years. Plus I had to figure out who the heck Betsy Hodges is.

Yes, I believe he replaced original drummer Florian Pilkington- Miksa around 1974 IIRC.

She needs to listen to a couple of hours of Yoko Oh-No to get her mind straight.

Understood. My point was that there are 8,760 hours in a year and based on the list I posted, there is a ~70% chance of not hearing a female voice. It's improbable, but not impossible to imagine one hour of female-less music popping up in a year. Candidly, if I was dining with a friend like this (!) and she was obviously more focused on useless minutiae, I'd consider it a personal affront and, under the guise of gender equity, make her pay the bill.

For what it's worth, I would be peferecly happy if they played Barracuda over Stairway for the rest of my life. Or to keep the male/female ratio fixed, consider this substitute...

Yes, the then HOT Mariska Veres!

The three albums I have - Scorpio’s Dance, At Home and the 3rd Album are treasures.

That would be a violation of The Geneva Convention, we can't risk it.
