"I'm going to take the next year off," Lawrence outlined. "I'm going to be working with this organization as a part of (anti-corruption organization) Represent.US... trying to get young people engaged politically on a local level. "It doesn't have anything to do with partisan (politics). It's just anti-corruption and stuff trying to pass state by state laws that can help prevent corruption, fix our democracy.... "I stand in solidarity for Women's rights, Equal pay, DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program)," she captioned the picture, in which she's holding a sign that reads: "A woman's place is in the revolution."

Oh, good, we’re saved. But America needs lots and lots of saving, so make that a couple of years, won’t you? Twenty or so should suffice. Don’t call us, we’ll call you.

Potato Potahto. It's much more than the way a word is pronounced.
That you don't understand that is a real shame.
The point is, we do not live in a democracy as so many like to keep repeating.
The point is, when you don't describe our form of government correctly you're doing as much disservice to the nation as those you decry of calling America a democracy.

I dont see the Constitution governing much or even anything.Really?!
It seems to me that most or all of our governance comes from our representatives, and if not them, then unelected federal presidents in black robes.
Riddle me this...wherein is said representation laid out? From whence does it emanate?

Holy crap. That you don't understand what I posted is also shameful. I DO understand the distinction between the two and told you as much and agreed with you. Why are you busting my balls?
Rhetorical question. I really don't care to know.

I DO understand the distinction between the two and told you as much and agreed with you.Not that I've seen. Your "Potato Potahto." comment indicates that you equate the two to be the same thing when they're not.
Why are you busting my balls?
The answer to your query is in reply 82.
Perhaps we should care less about who we may offend and care more about who we may inspire.
Like you I'm trying to inspire, not offend.

May have started that way, but we’re drifting rapidly towards mob rule or worse.
Things have changed, and not for the better.

May have started that way, but were drifting rapidly towards mob rule or worse. So now you're admitting that America's form of government
is a Constitutional Republic and is
not a Representative Republic? Interesting.
Things have changed, and not for the better.
Many things have changed in the last 200+ years, but our form of government hasn't changed since 1788.
BTW, I love how you deferred from answering my questions and posted this tripe instead.

Maybe in theory, but not in practice.
You can call my post whatever you want, it doesn’t make any difference.
