I have seem commenters in this forum say things like “If event X happens, then it is going to be Civil War Two.” Should we be reporting those kinds of threats to the FBI?

That is merely an opinion. If the poster had said: “If X happens I’m going to start CWII, that would be a threat.

If someone says they want to shoot up/blow up/set fire to, etc., a school, stadium, concert, etc., we should take them at their word. Discussing taking preventative measures against a tyrannical government is no where near the same.

A tyrannical government/political party may try to equate the two but it is obviously an illogical argument that’s goes against common sense.
