Carter Page was hired by the FBI to be an informant against Russia.

In 2013 Carter Page was working as an under-cover employee (UCE) of the FBI, helping them to build a case against “Evgeny Buryakov”.  In March 2016 Carter Page remained their informant pre-trial.

Basically, Page was used to plant listening devices on this Russian, but was thrown under the bus for the purposes of the Mueller investigation....because Page was in contact with the Russians.

Research this folks.

I’ve heard similar things but this article is a hot mess. It needs to explain this. There’s a logic leap in the paragraph about Steele and Page.

“Carter Page was hired by the FBI to be an informant against Russia”

Yes. Info on the post 2013 FBI “interview” becomes sketchy. The left is fond of saying Page was under investigation at the time the FBI approached him over concern about Russians trying to recruit him as a spy. It’s equally plausible that story is BS and it was the FBI trying to recruit Page because of his business ties to Russia. Indeed, in retrospect it appears Page was recruited in 2013, was a FBI spy, then used as a justification for the FISA warrant because of Russian relations the FBI encouraged. If Page was all the left continue to claim he is, why hasn’t he been charged ?
